[MUD-Dev] Tutorial for Multi-User Environments
A quite interesting and useful (albeit slightly simplistic) tutorial on
developing multi-user environments can be found at
<URL:http://math.berkeley.edu/~jlevenbe/stl.html>. Postscript as well as
HTML versions of the paper are available. On first look, it all seems
reminiscent of the DIS standard, but has some more concrete and
down-to-earth examples...
(This link would do well do be included in the list FAQ.)
-- Niklas Elmqvist (d97elm#dtek,chalmers.se) ----------------------
"A Thaum is the basic unit of magical strength. It has been
universally established as the amount of magic needed to create
one small white pigeon or three normal sized billiard balls."
-- Terry Pratchett, The Color of Magic
