[MUD-Dev] Re: Modular MUD [Was:Finer points of Telnet programming ...]

Found it!

"The Microsoft Script Control, related documentation and a demonstration
can be downloaded... as part of the Microsoft Scripting Library. The
control is available to all developers at no charge (connect-time charges
may apply)."

The URL is now http://msdn.microsoft.com/scripting/ and not the URL the
above quote originally referenced, which I ellipsised out. (Is that a word?
And should it be ellipsissed? What about ellipsed?)

"It must be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to plan, more
doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage than the creation of a
new system. For the initiator has the enmity of all who would profit by
the preservation of the old institution, and merely lukewarm defenders in
those who would gain by the new one." -- Niccolo Machiavelli
