ColdC: Function/Method Reference: type()

SYMBOL type(ANY data)

This function returns a symbol name for the data type of data. The following symbols represent the respective types:

     INTEGER      'integer
     FLOAT        'float
     STRING       'string
     SYMBOL       'symbol
     LIST         'list
     OBJNUM       'objnum
     DICTIONARY   'dictionary
     ERROR        'error
     FROB         'frob
     BUFFER       'buffer
