INTRODUCTION
This package contains classes that make it easier for Java
applications to interface with muds. This includes support for LPC
data types and save files as well a UNIX crypt package written by Eric
Young. In the future, it will also support I3 connectivity.

FEATURES
The main feature of the first release is the ability to read LPC save
files or LPC data strings. A Java application (for example, a Java
FTP server) can then use these classes to read an LPC player save file
and base access decisions off that save file.

INSTALLATION
Put the file mud-1-0.jar somewhere in your CLASSPATH. If you are on a
system that supports links, it is suggested to link mud.jar to
mud-1-0.jar so that you may put mud.jar in your CLASSPATH and only
need to relink for upgrades.

USAGE
Write applications against the documented API.

KNOWN BUGS
There are no known bugs.
