Gold can be spent or used in the following ways.
- It can be used by traveling to one of the shops to buy *item*.
- It can be used to forge your equipment.
- It can be used to pay other players for their services, such as
enchanting this is now done by having the enchanter auction a piece of gear.
You may also give gold to newbies to help get them started but not in
extremely large amounts. Please only give them enough to reclaim a few
items that you give them or enough to buy a few decent items off the
auction channel. Do not overpay for items just to give someone gold. If
the item can be bought at a shop for a certain price that is the max it
can be auctioned for as well.
Under NO circumstances is it ok to transfer gold between
two of your own characters!
