The highlander can tune their senses to be able to detect the changing environment caused by the power inherent in any object. This (at the lowest level) means that they get perfect night sight, at all times. At higher levels they get additional powers: Rank 2 - Read the aura of People Rank 3 - Read the aura of Objects Rank 4 - Read into the Spiritual plane Rank 5 - Read into the Astral plane Rank 6 - See past the barriers people place in scrying.
